Designed and engineered in our world-famous Acoustic Engineering Center of Excellence in Northridge, California, Stage 245C is a centre channel loudspeaker perfectly matched with the entire Stage series. This loudspeaker features a 2.5 way design with Next Generation patented High Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide geometry, 1-inch (25mm) Anodized Aluminium dome tweeter, and quad 4.5-inch (114mm) Polycellulose cone woofers that provide deep, signature JBL bass.

Each speaker in the Stage 2 series features Polycellulose ribbed cone woofers. This pure pulp cone has a proprietary mix of other materials added to improve its rigidity and the ribs echo legendary JBL designs. These woofers produce deep, accurate, room-filling bass.

Through intense research of previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed a new complex geometry that improves directivity, reduces diffraction, and achieves an overall neutral frequency response both on and off axis. The Stage 2 HDI Horn is coupled to an anodized aluminium dome tweeter to enhance efficiency and dynamics.

Precision 2.5-Way Crossover

The 245C centre channel model features a unique two-and-a-half-way crossover design. This design crosses over the top woofer right below the tweeter’s output, while the other woofer is crossed over at a lower frequency. This creates a dynamic mid-range while both woofers still extend deeply for powerful bass. The result is cohesive, balanced output with a robust low end that can be both heard and felt.
